Psalm 70:5. The Passion Translation
Lord, in my place of weakness and need, won't you turn your heart toward me and hurry to help me? For you are my Savior and I'm always in your thoughts.  So don't delay to deliver me now, for you are my God.
So thankful that God delivers me.

Psalm 69: 1 - 2

O God, my God, come and save me!  These floods of trouble have risen higher and higher.  The water is up to my neck!  I'm sinking into the mud with no place to stand, and I'm about to drown in this storm.

So many times the storms of life overwhelm me especially when I take my eyes off of God; when I pay more attention to my circumstances than to the One in control of them.  I am so thankful that I can call on God and he will save me.  It may not always happen in the way that I think it should, but God always answers.  I may have to walk through  for a bit, but as the saying goes, "If God brings me to it, He will bring me through it."

I made a postcard from this weeks printables from www.praiseheart.net/purchase

Psalm 68:9

You sent the reviving rain upon the weary land, showers of blessing to refresh it.

I am so thankful that the Lord sends rain as needed and that He also sends blessings upon His children.  His love is so overwhelming at times, that He loves me enough to bless me when I follow His way.  May we all step out from under our umbrellas and openly receive those blessings.

Psalm 67:1

Psalm 67:1 NKJV
God be merciful to us and bless us,
And cause His face to shine upon us, Selah
For me, the image of God's face shining down on me is honestly something I never thought much about. I think it was one of those verses that I associated with a Jewish blessing that I would hear on a tv show or something. But to stop and imagine God, the Creator of the universe, looking down on me and to have His face shine on me was and is a breath-taking idea. He looks down on me woth favor whrn i am in His will. I am learning to slow down and truly think about the words I read and not just check it off a list.
I chose to make a tag from the printables this week.
